IBPS Clerk 2024 Notification: Apply Online, Exam Dates, Syllabus

IBPS Clerk 2024– The IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) released the IBPS Clerk 2024 Notification on February 12. A total of 12075 vacancies have been released to recruit candidates based on the common written exam (CWE) for the clerical cadre in multiple public sector banks across the country. Online registration for the IBPS Clerks 2024 Exam has started from 17 February 2024. Candidates are advised to check their eligibility and other essential details before applying to the IBPS Clerk 2024 examination.

The IBPS Clerk CWE 2024 exam will be conducted in two phases- Preliminary (Prelims/ Pre) exam and Mains exam. Candidates who qualify in the Online Preliminary Examination and are shortlisted will have to appear for the Online Main Examination. Qualified candidates in both exams will be selected for the IBPS clerk post. Since recruitment in the clerical cadre in Public Sector Banks is done on a State/UT-wise basis, candidates can apply for vacancies in any one State/ UT only.

The Online Registration for IBPS Clerk 2024 exam has started on 17th February 2024. To apply online for the IBPS Clerk 2024 exam, candidates are required to go through below easy steps below-

IBPS Clerk Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must fulfill the following two criteria to be eligible for the IBPS Clerk (CRP 9) 2024 Online Exam:

Age Limit (As of 01.02.2024):

Minimum Age- 20 Years

Maximum Age- 28 years

A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.02.1991 and not later than 01.02.1999 (both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification:

  • A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
  • The candidate must possess a valid mark sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he/ she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
  • Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer/ Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.
  • Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.

IBPS Clerk Admit Card & Hall Ticket 2024

IBPS Clerk CRP Exam Centre

The examination will be conducted online in venues across many centers in India. While filling out the online application form, you are given the option to choose the exam center of your choice. However, IBPS may allocate you a center other than the one you prefer if seats are not available at preferred locations. There will be no request to change the examination center.
